A New Community Partnership in Richardson
We are pleased to announce a new partnership between SimplyAware and the Dallas Area Parkinson Society (DAPS), expanding access to Parkinson’s support and wellness resources in Richardson and the surrounding communities.
For Chris and Fayne, this partnership is a natural extension of SimplyAware’s longstanding commitment to helping people remain active, engaged, resilient, and connected as they navigate changes in health and life.
Beginning in August, SimplyAware will become a new Richardson home for DAPS support programming, providing a welcoming, intimate space for people living with Parkinson’s disease and the family members and care partners who walk alongside them.
Join Us for an Open House
Friday, August 14
9:00 a.m.
SimplyAware Wellness & Training Center
1719 Analog Drive, Richardson
Chris and Fayne will introduce participants to SimplyAware and share some of the ways mindful movement, Tai Chi, Qigong, breathwork, and other mind-body practices can support quality of life, mobility, balance, resilience, and greater awareness.
Following the Open House, DAPS will host two support groups beginning at 9:30 a.m.:
These groups provide separate, confidential spaces for people living with Parkinson’s and for care partners to connect with others who understand their experiences, share resources, and build community.
This is only the beginning.
As our relationship with DAPS grows, we look forward to exploring additional ways SimplyAware can serve the Parkinson’s community through movement, mindfulness, education, self-care practices, and Principle-Based Training™.
We are honored to welcome DAPS—and the people they serve—into the SimplyAware community.
